Tim Metzger : Director of Photography
As a lighting cameraman, Tim Metzger's strengths are translating words into images using light, shadow and movement to tell a story. He has shot and edited numerous documentaries and dramas for the world's major networks, and has been director of photography on four feature-length films. Recent credits include a documentary on author James Michener, a corporate image video for Union Bank, and a dramatic interactive educational program for Paramount Communications, Inc. Other work includes projects for CBS (60 Minutes), ABC, Fox TV, PBS, Nova, Visa, Pacific Bell, Sun Microsystems, Charles Schwab, Sony, Apple, Pacific Telesis and Chevron.

Hilary Morgan : Director of Photography
Based in the San Francisco Bay Area, Hilary Morgan is a freelance cinematographer who has contributed to The Human Sexes, produced by the BBC, and The Life and Times of Allen Ginsburg, produced by Jerry Aronson. She has been a regular guest lecturer on cinematography at Stanford and San Francisco State University. Hilary has a masters in film and has worked as a camera assistant on various documentary series for PBS, including American Experience, NOVA and American Masters.

Rob Raker : Adventure Film Photography
After working in the environmental field, Rob Raker's love of climbing, mountaineering, and other outdoor sports drew him to a new career in documentary video and film-making. He has shot numerous projects for the Boulder Media Group in Boulder, Colorado. His most recent work includes a documentary for North Face/NBC Productions about a rock-climbing expedition undertaken by four top women climbers in Sardinia and Madagascar.

Josh Helling : Adventure Film Photography
Josh Helling has lived, climbed, photographed, and filmed in Yosemite since 1990. His background combines an active professional rock climbing guide career with both still photography, and motion picture camera operation. From climbing Yosemite's El Capitan in a single day, to living on a frozen Artcic bigwall cliff for 32 days Josh brings his passion for the mountains into the technically creative world of camera work.

Ben Galland : Editor / Camera / Music Supervisor
Ben Galland brings a broad range of experience in editing, music, and camera work to his corporate films, music videos and documentary work. His rock climbing expertise added insight and creativity to the editing of Vertical Frontier. In addition, he is currently producing, directing and editing the documentary Skating Through the Ashes, about the pool skateboarding boom which followed the Oakland hills fire in California.
