Alison Owings
Alison Owings' work with ABC, CBS and NBC includes television news writing for Walter Cronkite, Dan Rather, Tom Brokaw, Ed Bradley, Bob Schieffer and Morton Dean. She was also a writer on A Sunday Morning@ with Charles Kuralt.
Alison’s op-ed pieces and book reviews have appeared in the New York Times Book Review, New York Newsday, San Francisco Chronicle, and the Chicago Tribune. A Mill Valley resident, she is the author of Frauen: German Women Recall the Third Reich, published in 1993. Her oral history of American waitresses, Hey, Waitress! The USA from the Other Side of the Tray, was released in September 2002. Her next project chronicles the tale of contemporary Native-Americans.
Ken White
Ken White is a writer and producer of informational, promotional, and entertainment programs. He has designed and produced media for companies in the United States, Europe, Australia, and Japan. Ken's credits include writing and producing interactive and entertainment projects, television commercials, and promotional programs for Sony Corporation, Lucasfilms, Ltd., Philips of Europe, Amblin' Productions, ABC Sports, the Walt Disney Company, Anheuser-Busch, Levi Strauss & Co., Fathom Pictures, and the E. & J. Gallo Winery.
Ken specializes in programs designed to motivate and inform through the synthesis of hard facts and high production values. Ken brings more than twenty years of experience to the design, production, and evaluation of print and motion media. He is a communications generalist who can create a concept, design and produce the media, evaluate its effectiveness, and supervise the entire process.
