Kristi Denton Cohen : Producer / Director / Writer

Kristi Denton Cohen is currently producing the narrative feature film, The River Why, starring Zach Gilford, Amber Heard, Kathleen Quinlan, Dallas Roberts, William Devane and William Hurt.

She produced, directed and co-wrote the feature documentary, Vertical Frontier, narrated by Tom Brokaw. It won “Best Film on Climbing” at the prestigious Banff Mountain Film Festival in 2002 and Kendall Mountain Film Festival in 2003. It has screened to sold-out audiences at numerous international film festivals including Mill Valley, Denver, Seattle, St. Louis, Annapolis, Trento (where it was the only American film accepted), and Telluride Mountainfilm among others.

Kristi produced and directed Funding Peace, a short documentary featuring Michael Douglas, for the Ploughshares Fund, a non-profit that works to stop the spread of weapons of mass destruction. It was shown at the 2002 Slamdunk Film Festival in Park City, an alternative showcase along side the Sundance Film Festival. She completed Climb for Life, a short documentary narrated by Vicki Mabrey (“60 Minutes”) designed to raise awareness about ovarian cancer for the HERA Foundation.

Kristi also produces and directs award-winning educational, corporate communications, and training films. Additionally, she has produced and directed nationally broadcast direct-response programs, commercials, and public service announcements. Kristi won the 1996 Silver CINDY Award and 1996 Joey Award of Excellence for a corporate communications video and the 1994 Joey Award of Excellence for nationally broadcast public service announcement for Christmas in April*USA (now known as Rebuilding Together). She received her B.A. in Political Science and Theatre from the University of Denver and her M.A. in Broadcast Communication Arts from San Francisco State University.

Christine Odegard : Producer / Production Manager / Post Supervisor

Christine Odegard has ten years experience producing and post producing everything corporate training and image videos to commercials and feature films. She has also acted as location manager on two feature films and as production manager on the first all-digital short feature film Mail Bonding. Christine started her career in television news and documentaries. She shares an EMMY and a duPont award for a documentary on socialized medicine.
